This page will have information regarding any additional resources to help you learn about Chemistry! If you are unable to attend my sessions or just want to spend more time learning, please check out the websites for the other Chemistry SI's and more on-campus resources listed below. I will also upload helpful YouTube videos regarding course content, study strategies, and more. If you find something that helps you learn, please share it with me so I can add it here to help other students.

Tutoring

The Tarleton Tutoring Program is part of the Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC). All tutoring services offered by Tarleton State University are free of charge for Tarleton State University students. The tutoring office is located in the Dick Smith Library Learning Commons (lower level) on the Stephenville Campus. They offer on campus tutoring in Stephenville and in Fort Worth. They also offer online tutoring, serving all Tarleton students at all campus locations. Students can choose tutors from over 25 academic disciplines and over 90 individual courses.

Science Achievement Center

The Science Achievement Center is a free tutoring center provided to Tarleton students! It is located in room 104 of the Science Building. Students can visit on a drop-in basis; however, schedules will vary depending on the subject in which they need assistance.

Sage is a free online intelligent chemistry tutoring program. It guides students through 146 key concepts taught in most Gen Chem courses, posing questions, providing help when necessary, scoring the answers, and providing detailed solutions. The course syllabus for Dr. Williams' CHEM 1311-060 states "This course will not be utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) for any assignments, exams, and/or experiments. Artificial intelligence (AI) should not be used to complete any assignments or experiments for this course." Be sure to review any applicable policies regarding the usage of AI, academic integrity, etc.
